Yesterday was Lego Sunday. A few hours of building in the morning and then a trip to Anaheim Lego store because the toothless here is celebrating his 7th on Sunday!

The week before Easter was our Spring break so we took off for a 9 day road trip. Road trip, yay! It was a mini adventure – we rented an RV (never done that before) and decided to tour some of the most beautiful places in US – National Parks Zion and Bryce Canyon, and … More ghost town
And… I have finished the Toss It quilt but just realized that the pics I took earlier today are no good. So it will have to wait. I will wash it and then take a few more pics. I like how it turned out. Decided to donate it for L’s school auction.
S will be 3 tomorrow (Thursday). I could write a really long post about how this day makes me feel. But I won’t. Somehow I don’t have the words. I will be very unoriginal and say … 3? how did that happen. My baby. All I want to do is look at him and make … More and now he is 3

Today I spent some time on Flickr… yes I know, time warp, too many other things to do, and all that… but I really haven’t done that in a … More versions of a photograph
Today I picked a trail I did know about except that I saw a sign to the trailhead on Sunset Blvd, close to Bienvenida, which is on our way to school. I could not find it at first, because the road deadends at one of those posh gated communities. But when I did a U-turn … More Leacock Memorial Trail
…for the beach towers along Venice/Santa Monica beach. These were taken over the last few months during my bikerides, which are supposed to be regular but are really occasional. This is the first time I have seen thse towers painted since we have been here (10 years). It’s a nice change, just in time for … More summer makeover…
